We collect as little as we can, only what we need to sell you the book and answer your questions. We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising trackers.

What we collect and why

When you buy the book. Gumroad handles checkout, payment and delivery. It acts as merchant of record and has its own privacy policy (gumroad.com/privacy). We receive your email address, name if you give it, country and order details, so we can deliver the book, send your receipt, handle refunds and keep the records the law requires. Gumroad and its payment processors handle your card details; we never see them. The legal basis is performing our contract with you and our legal obligations.

When you use the contact form. Your name, email address and question are sent to our email inbox through the service FormSubmit. We use them only to answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering questions you send us.

When you email us. We use your email and message to answer you and, for refunds, to find your order.

The welcome-price timer. To show your welcome price for 3 hours, the website saves one value in your own browser: the time you first opened the page. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can remove it by clearing your browser's site data.

Fonts and hosting. The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser sends your IP address to Google. Our web host, [HOSTING PROVIDER], may keep short technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site running and safe.

Who we share data with

Only with the services that make the shop work: Gumroad (checkout, payment and delivery), FormSubmit (contact form), Google (email and fonts) and [HOSTING PROVIDER] (hosting). Some of them are based in the United States. Where data leaves the European Union, they use legal safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records: 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires it. Contact form messages and emails: as long as needed to answer you, and at most 1 year after that, unless they relate to an order.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal data, to limit or object to its use, or to receive a copy. Email ypbrnd123@gmail.com and we will answer within one month. Some order data we must keep for tax reasons. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or to the authority in your own country.

Children

This website and the book are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
